Dear G and Jezebel,

 

I would like to confirm the essence of our call today that relates to Nat and the time he will spend with me and my family on his own, to include overnight stays and holidays abroad.

 

I understand from you that;

 

1.     Nat will from next week be able to sleepover an absolute minimum of one night every week (a minimum of 52 UK weeknight sleepovers per year). Arrangements for this will be very flexible to you and take into account Nat’s schooling and other activities. Could we start with Nat coming to me every second Sunday morning, to be returned Monday morning around 10ish? This enables both families to have alternate Sundays for family occasions. This can be varied but once two Sundays in a month have been allocated to one family, automatically the other two will go without fail to the other family. Midweek sleepovers can be by arrangement. Also I would like to have him some full weekends, Friday to Monday morning, again by arrangement to suit us both.

2.     Nat is allowed to come on holiday with me abroad unaccompanied by Jezebel, from 22/3/2003.

 

Thank you both for having today both verbally agreed to allow me to have Nat unsupervised by you. This will certainly be to Nat’s benefit. I have tried to be as flexible as possible in my wording but I would say that if for any reason one of the minimum weekly sleepovers does not take place, then that missed night should be carried forward to a future week when it/they may be taken together with a following week’s sleepover. I hope that there will be no need to count the nights and I hope that soon you will be happy for Nat to sleepover fully every second weekend as this will allow him to know his father very well.

 

In the past you have had some concerns that I would like to address below despite the fact you did not ask or insist upon them having any relevance or application to the essence of what we have agreed today.

  1. Chaim and Jezebel are under an equal obligation to keep the other informed of where and how Nat is.
  2. Chaim and Jezebel will not take Nat outside the UK/abroad without the written consent of the other on the same sheet of paper. Jezebel to get (if she wishes) a draft written agreement for this express purpose (that she is happy with) that binds both Chaim and Jezebel equally to the same terms, as a Parental Responsibility Agreement is in force and governs this issue. It is expressly agreed that Chaim will take Nat on Holiday abroad from his second Birthday and consent to this is not to be unreasonably withheld for any reason by Jezebel.
  3. Chaim and Jezebel confirm that they both have no intentions of taking Nicholas to live abroad permanently under any circumstances.
